This README file contains information on the contents of the meta-rz-panfrost layer.

The meta-rz-panfrost layer enables the VLP to take advantage of the open-source panfrost graphics drivers.
This has been currenlty tested on the RZ/G2L SoC with the VLP 3.0.1 version. It should work on the RZ/V2L SoC.

I. Adding the meta-rz-panfrost layer to your build

Run 'bitbake-layers add-layer meta-rz-panfrost'


II. Modifying the image.
=================================================

In build/conf/local.conf, please add the following:
	PACKAGECONFIG_append_pn-mesa = " egl kmsro panfrost"
	IMAGE_INSTALL_append += " mesa weston kmscube"

Next, build your customized image:
	$bitbake core-image-weston


III. Verifying Panfrost is working.

To ensure that Panfrost is working, the kernel bootup log should show the following:
