Changes

  • Explain why the hosted mend app may lag behind compared to the latest open source version

Context

The Which Renovate versions are officially supported? section of the FAQ already mentions:

If you're using the hosted app, you don't need to do anything, as the Renovate maintainers update the hosted app regularly.

But the whole "app lags behind open source version" should probably have its own heading. 馃槃

I'm trying to stop users getting confused like this:

Documentation (please check one with an [x])

  • I have updated the documentation, or
  • No documentation update is required

How I've tested my work (please select one)

I have verified these changes via:

  • Code inspection only, or
  • Newly added/modified unit tests, or
  • No unit tests but ran on a real repository, or
  • Both unit tests + ran on a real repository
