I needed to get the device wifi settings removed so that I could connect to my office network. However, factory reset through the web UI doesn't appear to do anything, or at least, doesn't reset the web service UI so that it presents the wifi setup.

To fix this or work around, I followed #22 and reset using firstboot.

Do you have a SD card as extroot? If you have, try to format it manually on PC/Mac. Factory Reset will not remove the content on the SD card. When SD card is used as extroot, wifi settings is stored on the SD card.
