Describe the bug

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Install latest Bullseye
Follow the steps to install ReSpeaker
Follow the steps to run Picovoice (porcupine, specifically PvRecorder)
--show_audio_devices will now show ReSpeaker, but arecord -l does

Expected behavior

Respeaker should work with Picovoice

Platform

  • Device: Raspberry Pi 4]
  • OS: latest Raspbian OS 32bit - 5.15.32-v7l+

Note: Uninstalling the ReSpeaker drivers, and installing HinTak's fork works. https://github.com/HinTak/seeed-voicecard

I spent days debugging this before finding this solution.

You need to keep your software up to date.
