Please update this if you use the Faikin and find it works with your model.
The code should work with a BRP069B41
, BRP069C41
, or similar WiFi modules work connecting to S21
or X50
ports.
Mostly models will be S21
unless otherwise specified. Please do add more detail if you can, or ask in a discussion.
Current Amazon listing (UK) is the model that supports 5V working on Tx and Rx.

Use a multimeter to figure out where pins 4 (14.4V) and 5 (GND) are and make sure all wires are 1:1, as even when choosing "Same direction" some wires can still come in reverse order. The best way to ensure you're connecting the plug correctly is to ensure pin 4 (14.4V) is connected to pin 4 on the Faikin board which has a "12V" mark on back. You will need to use an X-acto to carefully lift the lever on the connector to passthrough the cables via the shielded electronics box in order to install the Faikin board outside it - you can also use this opportunity to swap the red and black wires to match pins 4 and 5, respectively. This way the red wire will carry 14.4V and the black wire will be GND, instead of being the green and yellow ones. |
