Transition in Chrome for iOS

I'm having the same issue as mentioned here (wasn't sure if posting to a closed issue was best or opening a new issue was better): #6

The transition seems to work fine on Safari for iOS but there's a Black blink in Chrome for iOS.

Using the current version of Safari on both iPad and iPhone 6 and using Chrome version 39.0.2171.50 on iPad and iPhone 6.

I get a screen flash between each transition on IOS 7.0.4, using Safari or Chrome. Can anyone suggest any fix?
