Misreports device as offline when reading through web browser

Hi there,

Due to the way Phoronix manages the RSS feeds, I tend to open most items in Fennec, and then switch back to News Provider when I've finished reading the news item(s). Often, News Provider will say I'm offline when I switch back, but not consistently. I'm pretty much always on my very-solid Wi-Fi AP, so it's unlikely to be a case of a spotty internet connection.

Is there anything else I can do to provide more information? I'm assuming the log probably isn't going to be helpful for this, seeing as it doesn't cause a crash?

How often this happened? does it shown everytime you switch back? or just sometimes? what smartphone you use and what android OS ?

It seems fairly unpredictable, but infrequent overall - I'll try to pay more attention to it the next few times I use it.

I'm using Android 11 (stock) on a Moto G8 Power.

Still get it periodically, haven't found any new patterns.
