retro-style snake game

written in raylib (using raylib-go)

gameplay so far

  • basic movement mechanics
  • eating food grows the snake
  • hitting border kills
  • eating self kills
  • more food at the same time
  • display:
    • difficulty
    • score
    • max score
    • game title
  • intro menu
    • current high score
    • difficulty (slug, worm, python)
    • game logo?
  • different types of items

  • better snake animation?

  • procedurally generated map
