New release?

Looking on 2.2.0...master I think that it would be good to make the new release.
Any chance to to do that soon? 🤔

I also think that a new release would be great. For example, in the changelog for version 3.0.0, the improvement "Use wfopen on windows" would be very important in order to properly support Unicode paths on Windows. Of course, alternatively, this trick that sets the locale in my application to UTF-8 also works on Windows 10 1903/19H1 or newer and on Windows Server 2022 and newer, but not on older versions.

Of course it would be possible to simply use the latest commit from the master branch, but I would prefer using a version marked as "stable".
