Is it possible to add audio delay to the final rendered file? For example, add a 22 msec delay to the audio stream.

Unfortunately, it's not possible to add audio delay to the file in current NVEncC.

Thanks for the reply. No problem. Could you provide a brief explanation of why this is not possible? I have also seen that other apps such as Handbrake cannot do this. It is fairly easy to do using FFmpeg command lines (which is what I do). I just want to understand why it can't be done. Thank you.

I meant that it was not implemented at that time, I've added the feature in NVEnc 4.56 (--audio-delay).

use mkvtoolnix to add delay and ffmpeg to change the container to mkv (lossless).

I'll close this issue as the feature has been already added to NVEnc.
