show version numbers not first x chars

in edit form show the previous versions as numbers with date "10 (20.03.2010)"

What i think should (also) be done is that the version form should send the version id, not the body text. in other words, when you click on a version in the edit page, the url should be /edit?version=x, not /edit?body=x.

Another idea: use a dropdown box to dial into versions? Although I like the current approach in its simplicity! But it won't scale to very many versions...
