Notification after latest whatsapp web upgrade is not working #129

Describe the bug
After today's latest web webgrade for whatsapp , automatic online/offline notification is not coming unless we have opened the client .

Expected behavior
Automatic online notification should come how usually it was coming so far .

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: [e.g. iOS] - Mac
  • Browser [e.g. chrome, safari] - Both Chrome and firefox

Smartphone (please complete the following information):

  • Device: [e.g. iPhone6] iphone 6S

The issue is reproduced only when whatsapp got updated automatically and MultiDevice -Beta mode joined mode . When I have left MultiDevice -Beta mode , notifications working fine .

multi device linked is only for beta so i will fix soon when it will go for public (non beta users).

@GitUserEighty is multi device mode made public by meta no need to enroll in beta by default anyone can access multi mode?

in order to enter into multi device i have had to enter in beta. multi device is not open by default. tried today
