In macOS, I install mysql using brew, and type mysql it will redirect to /var/empty.

These are two separate issues.

The fact that which does not return the path is normal for an alias.

This problem of cding to /var/empty cannot be caused by nocorrect — which all it does is disable auto-correction for the rest of the command.

Please try to be a bit clearer about which issue you are experiencing.

The fact that mysql is aliased is a feature here. In your second link there's a better solution: add unalias mysql at the end of your .zshrc.

This is a duplicate of #2283. Read #2283 (comment) and see that a better alternative to find the location of mysql is using type or whence

The other part of your description is foggy and doesn't seem to be an oh-my-zsh fault. I'll close this PR for the moment, and you can ask again when you have more information.
