Create emoji-skipping support (read this, I know it's unclear)

I use this module for my bot's help menu, and I feel like it would be nice if certain emojis could go to a specific page.
Example:

menu = PaginatedMenu(ctx)
menu.pagejump({'👮🏽‍♂️':5,'🎧':8})
await menu.open()

So when I open the menu, the 👮🏽‍♂️ emoji would skip to page 5, and the 🎧 emoji would skip to page 8.

That's definitely something I can look at implementing! Busy week for me unfortunately, but I will work on a nice solution for extending a PaginatedMenu in ways like this.

Didnt want to open up a new discussion so im replying to this one here since its somewhat similiar to the op

Is it possible to add custom buttons without any functionalities (adding events to them through on_reaction_add)

It's been on the to do list for quite a while, but as it stands the built-in PaginatedMenu is a very focused class (ie. extending its functionality is not easily done due to tight coupling). It can be done on a PaginatedMenu, it's just very hacky (overriding various methods) and not worth it.

It would be easier to use a ButtonMenu with static button mapping (so the reactions don't reload each page), which is basically how the library version of PaginatedMenu works. ButtonMenu buttons execute user-defined callback functions when clicked, which is what you'd be looking for -- PaginatedMenu just has the callbacks built-in and generates the key mapping at runtime.
