BirdTalk is an open source IM server which is safe and free.
Vision: Our aim is to develop an in-depth design document for an instant messaging (IM) tool, with the goal of making secondary development more convenient.
While there are numerous IM tools available, the issue of security remains a concern. Often, there is a need to embed a chat service within our own products, yet there is currently no satisfactory solution available.
Hence, we intend to embark on developing a new solution from scratch.
The primary objective of this project is to publicly release a foundational design document, encompassing design philosophies, server-side processing logic, communication protocols, and storage design details. This will empower secondary developers to understand where to begin customization.
Additionally, we will open-source both the server-side and client-side code, enabling regular users to effortlessly set up their own IM servers.

愿景： 我们旨在打造一款详细设计文档的即时通讯（IM）工具，旨在使二次开发更加便捷。
