I've been holding this back for a while, but it stays prevalent. To my knowledge, this repository is an outdated copy of the core scripts, with official contributors silent and pull requests ignored. What happened?

Yep. Either they're busy with an overhaul, or ROBLOX is too busy printing money. they merged the internal here 5 days ago.
