Probabilistic approach to finding single and multiple superquadrics

Robust and Accurate Superquadric Recovery: a Probabilistic Approach¹ seems to be a very nice method that relies on a probabilistic approach rather than on pure optimization to address noise, outliers, and even hierarchical decomposition in multiple superquadrics.
