## Introducción | ||

La [**vitamina C**](https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vitamina_C) es muy importante para nuestro organismo. En esta actividad se estudiará como detectarla. | ||
|
||
## Objetivos | ||
|
||
1. Determinar la presencia de vitamina C. | ||
2. Elaborar un papel reactivo sensible a la vitamina C. | ||
|
||
## Materiales | ||
|
||
- Fuente de [yodo](https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yodo) ([Betadine<sup>®</sup>](https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iodopovidona)) | ||
- Agua | ||
- Papel [adsorbente](https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agente_adsorbente) | ||
- Vasos | ||
- Sustancias a analizar | ||
- Limón | ||
- Naranja | ||
- Zumo comercial | ||
- Pastillas de vitamina C | ||
|
||
## Fundamento científico | ||
|
||
Al reaccionar la vitamina C con el yodo se produce una [**reacción rédox**]({{< relref "apuntes-segundo-bach-quimica/redox" >}}) que hace que el yodo pierda su color. | ||
|
||

||
## Procedimiento | ||
|
||
1. Se ponen en un vaso con agua unas gotas de Betadine<sup>®</sup>. | ||
2. Se sumerge en él el papel adsorbente. | ||
3. Se quita y se deja secar. | ||
4. Se pone en cada vaso una muestra de la sustancia a analizar. | ||
5. Se sumerge en él el papel adsorbente de la disolución anterior. | ||
6. Si desaparece el color, hay vitamina C. | ||
