Installation

Follow these steps to set up OtakuPlace on your local machine:

Requirements

Ensure you have Node.js installed on your system.

Step 1: Clone the project

git clone https://github.com/rohit-sama/OtakuPlace.git
cd OtakuPlace

Step 2: Install dependencies for the API

cd api
npm install

Step 3: Install dependencies for the client

cd ../client
npm install

Step 4: Start the development server

cd ..
npm run dev

The client-side and server-side development servers will start concurrently, enabling you to explore OtakuPlace locally.

Step 5: Set up environment variables

To run this project, you will need to add the following environment variable to your .env file in the "api" directory:

MONGO_URL=your_mongodb_url

Replace your_mongodb_url with your actual MongoDB connection URL.
