Tree Spirit uses Minecraft Forge's configuration scheme. Settings can be edited within Minecraft via the Mod Options list.

General

Server/client settings

Grow Crops Around Player

If enabled, the crop growth rate will be increased 1 block radius around a tree spirit.

Core Feeds Players

This determines the type of players that Spirit Tree Cores will feed. Options are TREE_SPIRIT, NONE, and NORMAL. If Touch of Beacon is not installed this option will not be available.

Death Time

Sets the seconds a tree spirit may be away from their tree.

Block Update Logs | Tick Logs

Determines if Spirit Tree Logs should check if they are in a valid location of block updates and/or random ticks(like leaves).

Only Kill Normal

This toggles creative and spectating player deaths associated with Tree Spirit Core death events.

One Dimension Core

If this is enabled only one dimension core per player per dimension is allowed.

Client

Client only settings

Death Warning

Changes the death warning type.

  • BAR - Progress bar on the top of the screen
  • FOG - Fog is overlayed on top of the screen
  • PUMPKIN - The Minecraft pumpkin overlay is displayed

Core Destruction

Toggles for the types of passive core destruction.

Zombies, Creepers, Skeletons

TODO Animations

  • Zombies - will path-find to the core and attempt to break it from melee range
  • Skeletons - same as Zombies (TODO implement ranged AI)
  • Creepers - That's a nice core you've got there...

Advanced

Default Generator Sky Tree

Sets the Sky Tree world type as default when creating a new world

Player Death Destroys Core

This determines if the core should be destroyed when the player dies. It is meant for skyblock use and can result in a death loop if the player's core is too far away from spawn to get there before the death counter finishes.

Enable World Type Sky Tree

Does not register the sky tree world generator by default.

Root Blocks

Allows the users to specify a list of blocks that will be considered root blocks.
