romcal is a utility library that outputs the liturgical calendar used by the Roman Catholic Church for Node JS v6+.
romcal generates the General Roman Calendar used in the Roman Catholic Rite. Output conforms to the revised liturgical calendar for the Western Church as approved by Pope Paul VI in Mysterii Paschalis issued on February 14, 1969.
Output can be configured for the civil year (Jan, 1 through Dec, 31) or the liturgical year (from the First Sunday of Advent through Christ the King Sunday). Additional filters for filtering output are also available.
The name of romcal is always written in lowercase. It was coined by bleding roman and calendar words.
