About roots/wordpress

roots/wordpress is an automatically updated Composer package for WordPress core.

Branches

• src (default repo branch) - contains the source for automatically building the package
• master - the actual contents of the PHP package

Build process

For every WordPress core release, a corresponding version of roots/wordpress is automatically generated.

This is managed by GitHub actions which push a new branch to this repository and create a tag for each version.
