From a limited sample of data, it seems that enhanced DICOM Vida XA10 and XA11 systems save diffusion information in public tags (0018,9089; 0018,9087). XA10 classic DICOM would not store any diffusion information. The new XA11 classic DICOMs appear the save diffusion information in private tags (0019,100c; 0019,100e). Siemens recommends enhanced DICOM for users. However, the latest commit of dcm2niix adds support for the private tags.
