🌎 Hackathon Global

Built for the Hack the North 2023 Frontend Developer challenge

Hackathon Global is a website that displays a hackathon's events for both the general public & hackers. It uses an API endpoint provided by Hack the North.

This repository is currently live at hackathon-global.netlify.app and all features can be viewed there. 💫

Getting Started

1. Clone this repository

$ git clone https://github.com/roselynh100/hackathon-global

2. Install dependencies in root folder

$ npm install

3. Start the development server

$ npm start

Hackathon Global should now be running locally at http://localhost:3000/ :)

Important information

When first launching the website, only the public events can be viewed. The private events are locked behind login credentials that are currently hard coded. Use the following information to log in:

username: frontend
password: hackthenorth
