Purpose 🤔

I've made this repo to host the configs that I use between my machines. Whether it be Windows, Linux, or Mac. I also believe in sharing just in case someone likes what I have. ToC is provided as links to all the files.

Instructions

• Linux Instructions

git clone https://github.com/ross-jm/dotfiles.git /tmp/dotfiles

All linux scripts refrence this loaction so following this step makes it easier.

• Windows Instructions

git clone https://github.com/ross-jm/dotfiles.git $HOME

neovim install script does not need a central location so windows can be cloned anywhere i have it as Home.

Windows

• Functions.ps1 | Functions for Windows.
• Microsoft.PowerShell_profile.ps1 | Windows Powershell Profile, That I use.
• neovim-install.ps1 | Neovim install script for Windows using winget.

Linux

• bashrc | .bashrc file used for Linux profiles
• .functions.sh | functions file used with .bashrc file.
• Neovim Installer | Script to install NeoVim and copy over the NvChad config.
• Oh-My-Posh Installer | Script to install oh-my-posh and move over the config for it.
