Forum: How to recover the password?

Hello @roytam1, I have a problem since several years, I can not connect on the forum and there is not the possibility to recover the password....

Can you publish that there is this problem on the forum?

Contact with, and from, the mail registered on the forum telling in the mail content your forum username and a new password to the mail address given on this thread:

(You can change the password later (careful! only the password, read the first post carefully))

Take care the given data matches the given to the forum, otherwise nothing will be done.

Note: the problem "doesn't exist", but Sourceforge, long ago, disabled the SMTP server for project websites or usage of external SMTP servers, so, no, there isn't any possibility for recovery methods on project websites. This is for general knowledge on SourceForge project sites status.

I think it is possible to create a ticket here about the problem: https://sourceforge.net/p/forge/_list/tickets.

Other solution, it is possible to move the forum and update Phorum too.

I already told you how.

But you will contact a forum administrator, not the project administrators.

Requirement needed, as well, to receive support from SourceForge; and to move/update Phorum.

There isn't any other method, currently.
