The compatibility page is incomplete.
The rsyslog git repository ships the following files

doc/v3compatibility.html
doc/v4compatibility.html
doc/v5compatibility.html
doc/v6compatibility.html
doc/v7compatibility.html
doc/v8compatibility.html

Agreed. v6, v7 and v8 did not have compatibility documentation in the existing package that was converted. This will need to be added.

mmhhh... It looks like there was a problem with the conversion. If you look at the original doc set[0], you'll notice that they are linked. Could this be an indication that something with the main manual.html page went wrong?
