Not related but interesting to see that exception info is localised in Dutch:

2021-06-18 14:59:45.7336;INFO-2.5.2.5906;Rubberduck.UI.Command.MenuItems.CommandBars.AppCommandBarBase;System.Threading.Tasks.TaskCanceledException: Een taak is geannuleerd.

@Greedquest the exceptions come from the .NET Runtime, which is localized using the host computer's locale settings. We also have french stacktraces, german stacktraces and even more exotic ones in various different issues around these parts.

@JanKlumper from my very limited understanding of the Rubberduck setup process, it seems to me that something went wrong in the setup of the Menu items involving a background task of some sort. It's somewhat worrying that the exit of your rubberduck instance seems to be brought on by clicking the "About" menu item without any sort of indication what the underlying issue is...
