Expanding WG for vendor participation

rust-embedded/embedded-hal#112 got me thinking about WG's priorities and goals for engaging vendor participation. I believe such an involvement would be great boost to the ecosystem. At the moment, there is no guidelines or systems in place regarding the same. I certainly do not expecting anyone to show up immediately, but how can we make it easy if they choose to do so?

• What plans do the WG have in their roadmap for vendor involvement in the ecosystem ?
• Do the WG members think vendor involvement can go in hand with the community ?
• Are we in a position to issue an open invitation to the vendors accepting contributions for their devices?
