Can you post the output of keyd -m after pressing q while keyd is both running and not running? Do you have any other remapping software running? Do the other keys work? What is your keyd config?

Sorry, I thought this was filed under a different repo :P. Ignore my last comment. The default quit key is escape, it looks like I forgot to update the README. You can change this to q in ~/.warprc if you want.
