add support for mathjax within markdown files

Seems like this should be simple enough to do. here is a API support by mathjax for use with node.js programs

Another possibility to support TeX (Math typesetting) would be KaTeX. https://khan.github.io/KaTeX/

It has been a while since you made this issue post.
Are there new alternatives used within your industry? or is this still a need Raneto can help with?

Hi Ryan, I'm not doing the same kind of work, but i can speak to the request. When I'm writing math or formula-heavy documentation, it's good to have a way of doing that within markdown. Mathjax was one such way that had support from other markdown readers

Seems like it would be a useful addition.

Will add it to Roadmap under "Nice to Haves"
There's a lot to revamp/refactor beforehand.
