I had an issue with upgrade from 5.7.23 to 5.8.24, after upgrade I've got empty page in Firefox and HTTP 400 error in Chrome.

The same behavior with clean install of both 5.8.23 & 5.8.24.
I'm tried on Raspberry Pi 2 & 3 with Docker 18.03 and 18.05.

Those were both clean upgrades for me on both armv7 (pi 3) and amd64 so it's likely something local to your environment. When you say you did a clean install, does that mean you removed the docker data volumes as well?

Yes, I removed container and volumes. I have no idea what is special in my environment, v 5.7.23 is working without any issues. I'm using the same compose file for both tests, the only difference is a version.

The same issue with 5.7.28
Tomorrow I'll try to build all version on the same version of base image and java

Can you confirm that the container actually starts? What's in the logs?

Yes, it is running

I performed more tests, latest working version for 5.7 is 5.7.26 and for 5.8 is 5.8.16
I build my own images based on arm32v7/debian:jessie and got the same result. I've got error 400 starting with version 5.8.17.
Just found, I can use ip address but <host.domain> doesn't work. I have my own local dns server based on dnsmasq. I can use ip address, hostname without domain but hostname with domain return 400 error

Can you verify that your local dns is pointing to the right place?

You might want to file an issue upstream as it doesn't seem like this problem is unique to the docker packaging in this project.

sorry for delay, how can I open an issue in upstream?
I've got the same behavior with versions from 5.7.27 and 5.8.17

@mikeS7 Sorry this fell through the cracks for me. I was referring to posting on the unifi forums here: https://community.ubnt.com/t5/UniFi-Wireless/bd-p/UniFi

At least 5.8.30 solved the issue
