Structure

• First step: MENU, First Step, Step key (shifts events)

• Last Step: LAST (hold or dbl click) + step key

• Jump to first step of Bar: MENU, Sync

• Adjust bar length: LAST + turn BAR encoder

• Bar Follow: BAR hold+rotate

• Bar edit: Press BAR

  • Bar copy: P3: Hold COPY + destination step/bar key CK: COPY + BAR

  • Extend and copy: Hold COPY + step key after last bar

  • Bar loop: SHIFT + start step key + end step key

  • CK Delete Bar: DELETE, Start step key, End step key (or BAR to clear all)

  • CK Tap event: REC, hit SCULPT Velocity = Knob A position

  • Insert empty bar: Hold INSERT + <step key> option to insert empty bar in P3 bar edit mode

• Step edit

  Copy: COPY, first key, last key BAR encoder to switch bars Last key + first key = copy in reverse

  Insert: INSERT, first step

• Aux Macro (Template): Select Pattern, MENU -> select aux macro

Fiddling

• Sculpt: SHIFT + SCULPT, hold SCULPT while playing

  Switch Sculpt mode: Enter, turn, Enter

• Audition: Press step encoder + step key

• Select aux: Press + turn ROW Press + turn again for 2nd level

• Record quantization: Press encoder 5 in Real-Time Record menu

• Unmute track at next global bar loop: SHIFT + muted track key

• CK pattern loop: FILL + encoder = set loop start LAST + encoder = set loop end FILL + BAR = loop current bar FILL + BAR + BAR = clear loop

• CK pattern note mute: DELETE while in record mode

• CK change resolution: VALUE

• CK change insert type to event list: SHIFT + INSERT

• CK CC view: SHIFT + ROW

Ganging

Note that P3 gang uses step encoders. CK ganging can be done by bar or whole pattern.

• P3 gang step: GANG + step encoder

• P3 Gang alternating steps: GANG + 2 encoders (adjacent = gang all)

• CK Gang all notes on one step: GANG + step encoder

• CK Gang notes on selected row: GANG + step key

• CK Gang entire row: GANG + row encoder

• CK move gang L/R: SHIFT + turn BAR

• CK move gang U/D: SHIFT + turn ganged step encoder

• DELETE ganged: DELETE + GANG

• Invert gang: SHIFT + GANG
