I am running SoundCleod 1.4.0 on MacOS Mojave 10.14.5 and the media control keys (play, pause, next track) work properly after starting the app. But if I start playing some media in a different app e.g. VLC and then go back to SoundCleod the control keys still control only VLC (or even both at the same time!).

Is this a known issue? With e.g. Spotify the control keys work properly, the keys are going to control only the last selected media app.

Hey @Jendker thanks for reporting this issue. To be honest I am not even sure what the expected behavior should be, likely only the most recently activated media app should be the only one reacting to the keys. Will keep this open until we figure something out.

Is it just me or did the media keys stop working altogether?

@Jendker works for me. Is it still the same macOS version?

Ok, I figure it out, the checkbox in security menu next to SoundCleod was checked off.

But the issue with control of SoundCleod after starting VLC or Spotify persists, I will think about something what could work and come back to you :)
