Then it would mean that there has been a regression across recent Sandboxie releases.
I've got the latest Win7x64 with all the updates so yes, it's Win7x64 SP1.
We're taking about INSTALLING the game. Not playing it. You recorded a video with launching the game. I cannot even install the HROT version I linked in my previous post. The error in the original post is the error I get when I try to launch THE HROT GOG INSTALLER in Sandboxie. |
downgrade to 1.10.0 |
Can you confirm it works properly with 1.10.0 but doesn't work with 1.10.1? |
#3132 (comment) 1.9.x was the last time i used sbie with a gog offline installer prior to this issue and yes the 1.10.1 changes is what caused this error |
@Mitch037 If you watched the updated video, there was also the installation part. But your problem seems to be caused by the latest update. (1.10.1) |
Yes, I saw it. I was just emphasizing that we're taking about installing issue, not playing issue. Just to make it clear for anyone reading this page. In few words: it's not the game that's the problem, it's the GOG installer that causes the issue. |
you can run the online updater set to download version updates to get 1.10.1a which resolves this issue |
I can confirm that with the latest update (1.10.1a) the issue has been resolved. Well done! |
