Backends

Each simulator supported by N2A has an associated "backend" module that generates configuration files and starts/monitors the simulation. To specify the backend for a given run of a model, add a line to the $meta section associated directly with the part to be simulated:

backend=name

where "name" is one of the values listed below:

• c
• internal -- This is the default if you do not specify any backend.
• lems
• neuron
• xyce
