Orderable document list causes the native list search input field to disappear

Sanity's native list interface has a search input field shown, like this:

But when orderable document list is used, this is missing:

Any luck getting this the filter to show?

I'm getting the same thing as well as "Published" and "Edited" icons are not showing for each item as shown in @toddpadwick screenshot above.
