A take on the classic "Naughts-and-Crosses" game, with different gameplay modes, modern UI and graphics, and a dark theme.

Features

  • Single Player Mode: For the lone wolves out there!
  • 2-player local Mode: The traditional way.
  • 3 and 4-player local Mode: So that your gang is never bored.
  • Dark Theme: Easy on the eyes, power efficient, looks cool. Also, changes as per systemwide theme if not already set by the user. Compatible with devices running Android versions below 9 as well.

  • Version 0.1.0_stable (May 21st, 2020): Dark theme is now live.

  • Version 0.1.0_beta (May 15th, 2020): Little UI changes, Single Player Mode is now live, currently available only in easy mode. Hard mode is in progress. Dark Theme coming soon.

  • Version 1.0.4_alpha (April 28th, 2020): Four-player Mode added.

  • Version 1.0.3_alpha (April 26th, 2020): Single Player mode coming soon. Redesigned UI, various bug fixes.

  • Version 1.0.2_alpha (April 20th, 2020): Single player vs Computer mode is now in progress. Three Player local mode is now live.

  • Version 1.0.1_alpha (April 17th, 2020): Menu added, new game mode options added. The game modes are in progress as of now. Updated graphics and icon, courtesy Suraj Singh. Bug fixed: Nothing happening on game draw.

  • Version 1.0: Initial Commit

Getting Started

These instructions will get you a copy of the project up and running on your local machine for development, playing and testing purposes.

Prerequisites

You should either have:

  1. Android Studio installed on your system, or
  2. An Android Device running Android version 5.0 or above.

Installation

  • Method 1: Use this repo itself by clicking here.
You can download the ZIP directly from the above link or from the "Clone or Download" link on the repository's home page
Not a pro in Git bash, I upload my files manually

  • Method 3: Download the APK file from here to run it on your android device.
Note: You should have "Allow Installation from Unknown Sources" enabled under your device's security settings

Running the Project

  • If you chose method 1, you can directly open the project as a ZIP or import it from its gradle settings using Android Studio.
File -> New -> Import Project -> Locate the ZIP and run
  • If you chose method 2,
I don't know about Git bash but it is supposed to import the project directly on your IDE.
  • If you chose method 3, just install the APK.
