Eduport - A Department Management Rest API

A RESTful API designed and implemented to manage and support a Bachelor's degree level department.

Installation

Step 1: Clone the repo

git clone https://github.com/sarkerjr/Eduport-Server.git

Step 2: cd into the cloned repo and run:

npm install

Step 3: Put your credentials in the .env file.

DATABASE_NAME=YOUR DATABASE NAME
DATABASE_USERNAME=YOUR DATABASE USERNAME
DATABASE_PASSWORD=YOUR DATABASE PASSWORD
DATABASE_HOST=YOUR DATABASE HOST KEY
DATABASE_PORT=DATABASE PORT || 8080
JWT_SECRET_KEY=YOUR JSON WEB TOKEN SECRET KEY

Step 4: Start the API by

npm start
