Heibi

Heibi is a college convenience app made for the students of IIIT but with a scope to be expanded beyond that. It has various useful features which allow tiny but essential tasks like checking the availability of pool table, washing machines etc, getting food and items from shops etc. easier.

Getting Started

Ensure you have the following installed

• Flutter > 1.17.4 : Follow this if you don't have it already
• Dart > 2.8.4 : Follow this if you don't have it already
• One of the following as the device to run the app on
  • A device emulator : Follow this if you don't have it already
  • A phone connected to the laptop : Refer Setup your device for more instructions

Running the app

• Clone the repo using

git clone <link to the repo>

• Navigate to the repo and run the following

flutter doctor

In case this gives errors, solve them and then run the following

flutter run

Setup your device

for Android

• Go to Settings
• Click on More settings
• Go to About phone > Build number/version
• Tap Build number/version seven times and you'll get a message saying you're in developer mode now
• Go back one step and you'll see an option Developer Tools
• Click on it and toggle USB debugging to enable
• Ensure that the file transfer mode is enabled
