Left / Right buttons aren't configurable

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to settings, change Left / Right to do zoom
2. Try to zoom using Left / Right buttons

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to see the application zoom in and out.
Instead I see it does not zoom in and out.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest version checked out from source. Android.


If I configure Up / Down buttons to zoom in and out then Left / Right buttons 
zoom in and out too.
