What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Opening Fern Cracker
2. Clicking Refresh
3. Selecting "wlan0"

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I should be able to do the next step (scanning wi-fi) instead the program
freezes including my laptop.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

BT5
Also tried on Ubuntu 11.10

Certain versions of linux behave that way when running on a virtual machine,
When the card is selected please wait for some few minutes ... The card will
get set to monitor mode..

I'm not using VMware. And I waited for an hour for it.

Maybe it's about my computer specs. What are the minimum requirements for this
software?

Thank you. :)

Really fern should be able to run well on any machine that can boot linux, but
i would like to ask, first of all what kind of card do you use and does it
behave this way with other wireless cards
