WeatherCast

This is a simple weather forecast application written in Python that retrieves weather data using the OpenWeatherMap API. The application allows users to get weather information for different cities by making API requests and displaying the results.

Getting Started:

  1. Clone the repository: git clone https://github.com/sayampradhan/your_repository.git
  2. Ensure you have Python installed (version 3.x).
  3. Install the requests library: pip install requests.

API Key:

  1. Sign up on OpenWeatherMap (https://openweathermap.org/) to obtain an API key.
  2. Save your API key in a file called 'api_key' (without any extension) in the same directory as the Python script.

Requirements

Usage:

  1. Run the Python script: python main.py.
  2. Enter the name of the city for which you want to retrieve the weather forecast.
  3. The application will display the temperature, feels like temperature, humidity, wind speed, general weather description, sunrise time, and sunset time for the specified city.
  4. You can choose to continue or exit the application after viewing the weather information.
