What is Programmatic Publisher Ad Server?

You will see ads on most of the websites – from big news sites to smallest blogs – unless you have ad blocking software installed on your computer. Even though we do understand the reasons you have ad blocker installed, in reality these ads help publishers to earn money and at the same time provide you with free content. In Adform we are building a range of tools dedicated for Publishers that help them manage their ad content and optimize revenue by enabling anyone to serve the ad on a desired website. But don’t be mistaken – “anyone” is strictly controlled by both Adform and the publisher, so that the end users are not annoyed by the amount of ads and ads themselves, when they visit their favorite website.

PPAS (or Programmatic Publisher Ad Server) is one of the solutions specifically designed and dedicated for Publishers. It handles thousands of ad requests each second - distributes them across demand partners/sources, decides on a best matching ad for specific visitor and responds with an ad or a set of ads to a website. Decisions include many different aspects – from device visitor uses, location he is located to websites he has visited previously and even information he has shared with others.
