How to change figure size especially on a Jupyter notebook? plt.figure(figsize=(3,4)) doesn't seem to work.

Apologies for the late response. This should work:

fig, ax = plt.subplots(figsize=(3,4))
hm = cathead.heatmap(data, ax=ax)
