Monotes is a GitHub Issues commandline client.
Add this line to your application's Gemfile:
gem 'monotes'
And then execute:
$ bundle
Or install it yourself as:
$ gem install monotes
$ monotes login
Username: <your usename>
Password: <Password>
$ monotes login
Username: <your usename>
Password: <Password>
Your 2FA token: <Token>
$ monotes download 'schultyy/monotes'
$ monotes show 'schultyy/monotes'
$ monotes create 'schultyy/monotes' <title>
Then vim
opens and you can insert your issue content in markdown. When
you save and quit, the issue gets created.
$ monotes push 'schultyy/monotes'
- Fork it ( https://github.com/[my-github-username]/monotes/fork )
- Create your feature branch (
git checkout -b my-new-feature
) - Commit your changes (
git commit -am 'Add some feature'
) - Push to the branch (
git push origin my-new-feature
) - Create a new Pull Request
