A Python + tkinter module to display widgets in a resizable grid.
WidgetGrid is a tkinter.Frame containing a tkinter.Text and a vertical tkinter.ttk.Scrollbar. Put any number of widgets in the WidgetGrid.content. They will be displayed in a grid-like pattern, especially when they are all of the same size. There will be an automatic soft line break, so that upon window resizing the grid will adapt.

Copy widgetgrid.py to an appropriate folder.

wg.content.configure(**options)
wg.add(tkinter.Label(self, text="Spam"))
Configure the appearence of WidgetGrid.content (the tkinter.Text widget) in your main program with all options available for tkinter.Text.
- The
tabs=option controls the space between columns of widgets. - The
spacing2=option controls the space between rows of widgets.
Use WidgetGrid.append(widget) to add widget at the end of the grid. Every widget will be followed by a TAB character.
