Enhancement request -- perhaps not in the spirit of simple text inside the note body but I thought outliner-type processing might be nice. Outline numbering with expand/collapse and movement (drag and drop or ctrl-UP/DN) of item and all subitems come along for the ride ...

This feature is unlikely to be added.

The primary use case for NV is "one detail/fact/item per note"—not traditional class notes, book outlines, etc.

I would support this request. While the one detail detail/fact/item per note is the best way to use NV, it is often useful to be able to also provide some kind of structure or order to the individual notes when writing a longer text. This can be done in a further longer note with hyperlinks to the small notes, but after a while it becomes unwieldy. Being able to expand or collapse by headings would make this much easier.

Does anybody have any suggestions as to an alternative means of achieving this, perhaps in tandem with another program?
