running from seastar-dev/linearize

on intel1

sudo build/release/apps/memcached/memcached --network-stack native --dhcp 0 --host-ipv4-addr 192.168.20.101 --netmask-ipv4-addr 255.255.255.0 --gw-ipv4-addr 192.168.20.185 --smp 14 --dpdk-pmd --collectd 1 --collectd-address 192.168.20.185:25826 --collectd-hostname=intel1-1

on intel2

for i in {1..48} ; do memaslap -s 192.168.20.101:11211 -t 12000s -X 64 -T 1 -c 64 & done

checking http://system.cloudius:18080/dashboard/

  • cores 0-7 network-X->totoal-operations-rx-packets have inbound traffic ~225K packets each
  • cores 8-13 network-X->otoal-operations-rx-packets have inbound traffic 0 packets each

this may be related to the previous memcached SMP reported issue

i40e dpdk rss driver rounds down queue number to power of two when it configures rss redir table. Need to ask intel why and configure redir table by ourselves.
