At last year's Greach Conf, I spoke to @aalmiray regarding the ability to create template projects through SDKMAN. This is obviously something that Lazybones already does, and does very well. My suggestion was to incorporate Lazybones into SDKMAN using a new command, so that:
$ sdk template
would be a synonym for
$ lazybones
In other words, when creating a new Ratpack template, it would be
$ sdk template create ratpack
My suggestion was that on installation of SDKMAN, the user could choose to install Lazybones as a dependency too. Once installed, the template command would be activated.
The other option (which I think I favour) would be to bundle Lazybones with SDKMAN by default.
I spoke to @pledbrook about this some time ago, but can't remember what the outcome of our conversation was. It would be great to resurrect this idea soon.
